Anonymous asked:

If you have children, would you stop your sex work? Do you think it's appropriate for mothers to be sex workers?

tieme-takeme answered:

Why on earth would I stop? I don’t think it’s inappropriate at all. It’s not like sexxworkers have a ‘take your child to work’ day. When my child was old enough to understand my work I would tell them about it, and that wouldn’t be a big deal because I will raise my children to be well balanced and educated about sexuality and sex work

It’s funny how many people rag on mothers who are sex workers yet how many jobs can people come up with where you can earn a week’s wage in one night and get to devote the rest of the week to your children? Talk about the best of both worlds!

Actually I know a lot of mothers that are sex workers (both young and old) and I’m proud of them because they are working to provide a better quality of life for their children that they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to.

do they pimp themselves out? o.o i hope they get tested.

Unfollow me, sexist asswipe.

Its not sexist.

I can’t even…

WHAT THE FUCK IS SEXIST ABOUT BEING OPPOSED TO SEX WORK?

This liberal bullshit makes me want to vomit up blood.

Yeah you’re right, policing women’s bodies and thinking it’s your place to decide they shouldn’t have to right to earn a living in whatever way they please is totally not sexist.  That judgmental, “Ewww hookers have STDs!” comment was super respectful and acceptable within the framework of women’s liberation.  You’re really neat.

Sex work, the commodification of women’s bodies, hurts women everywhere.

You want women to be seen as something more than fuck meat? Stop condoning the the buying and selling of women as fuck meat.

Seriously. Just because a woman willingly allows herself to be exploited, doesn’t mean she’s not being exploited. And, really, that exploitation is FUCKING PERPETUATING RAPE CULTURE.

Oh look, a person who thinks they’re fighting rape culture but literally doesn’t understand the meaning of consent.  How quaint.
